Conditions of Sale
1 – GENERAL
The following terms and conditions (“Conditions of Sale”) are adopted by Oris, a corporation organized under the laws of Switzerland. These Conditions of Sale are made available as provided on this Website and shall apply to all sales of products that you (the “Customer”) may order from Oris SA, Switzerland, (“Oris” or referred to as “we”) on the Oris Website, at: “www.oris.ch” (the “Website”).
The Conditions of Sale applicable to any order placed through this website are those in force at the time that an order is placed. When you check the “I Accept” box at the order confirmation section of the website, you indicate your acceptance of these Conditions of Sale. If you refuse to accept these Conditions of Sale, you will not be permitted to order products from the Website.
Oris may modify the Conditions of Sale from time to time, within its independent discretion. If you are placing an order through the Website, by checking the “I Accept” box and placing your order, you will be agreeing to be bound by the Conditions of Sale as may be modified from time to time.
2 – Shipping Policies
Subject to certain exceptions set forth below, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase on www.oris.ch, we will gladly accept your free delivery return within 14 days of receipt of the original Oris merchandise.
The return must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the merchandise. Further, all products must be returned with the original receipt and shipping papers, in a new and unused state, in perfect sealed condition, with all original shipping and product packaging, protective materials, and tags in place. Oris will not accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way, or if the 14-day return has passed.
Watch bracelets that have been adjusted at the customer’s request must have been done so by Oris or an Oris Authorized Retailer and should be returned with all the links originally shipped.
If you want to return your Oris merchandise, use the return label sent with your order or contact us for a return label. Call the number on the return label to arrange a pick-up by the express carrier at your location, and store your tracking number. Oris is not responsible for items which are lost, stolen, misdirected, broken, or damaged during the return process. All refunds will be issued in the form of the original payment. Oris is not responsible for any fees which may apply to a refund, such as PayPal or credit card transaction fees, nor is Oris responsible for the speed at which such refunds are credited to your account. All communications concerning returns and refunds shall be by writing; Oris will not respond to telephone enquiries.
Return the Oris merchandise to the address provided on the label.
3 – PURCHASES
You are responsible for paying any governmental taxes imposed in connection with use of the Site or the purchase or any products or services made available through the Site, including sales, use, and excise taxes (excluding only taxes on our net income). To the extent that we are obligated to collect such taxes, the applicable tax will be added to your billing account.
All prices displayed on the Site are quoted in the currency noted on the Site. We may restrict delivery to addresses in certain jurisdictions. We will add shipping and handling fees and applicable sales/use tax in accordance with our existing policies at the time of purchase. We reserve the right without prior notice to discontinue or change specifications and prices on products and services offered on the Site without incurring any obligation to you. Products displayed on this Site are available while supplies last. Descriptions of, or references to, products or services on this Site do not imply endorsement of that product or service, or constitute a warranty, by Oris. For warranty information please see the Oris Warranty. Your receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order. Prior to our acceptance of an order, verification of information may be required. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation from us. Oris reserves the right to limit the order quantity on any item and to refuse service to any customer without prior notification. In the event that a product or service is listed at an incorrect price, Oris shall have the right to refuse or cancel orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and your account charged. If your account has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Oris shall promptly issue a credit to your account in the amount of the incorrect price or provide you with a refund at your election.
Oris insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. Oris requires a signature by an adult to confirm your acceptance of each Oris product delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment of the sale contract by Oris and transfer of responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the product had been delivered to you.
